Change in schedule?  Schedule Change Request Form

NOTICE: All Financial Aid students must notify the Financial Aid Office of their home college of all schedule changes.

If you received financial aid and are either dropping to zero credits or changing to all audit courses:

  1. You will be placed on "financial aid ineligibility" status.
  2. You may owe a repayment of a portion of the financial aid funds you received.
  3. You may owe Cashiering for a portion of your tuition and fees.

If you want to change your schedule or withdraw from a class on your schedule before the first day of the quarter, use the online registration procedures.

Beginning the first day of the quarter, students wishing to:

ADD COURSES:
Complete and submit the Schedule Change Request Form. You will be notified when the transaction has been completed and of any tuition charges or refunds.

DROP/WITHDRAW/CHANGE TO AUDIT:
During the first two weeks of the quarter (through the eighth day of summer quarter), instructor permission is not required to drop / withdraw / change to audit. ( See the Academic Calendar for exact dates. )

During the third to the eighth week of the quarter (sixth week for summer quarter), you should complete and submit the Schedule Change Request Form. You will be notified when the transaction has been completed and of any tuition charges or refunds.

Note: North Seattle College does not require instructor's signature for withdrawals through the 8th week (6th week of summer quarter) of the quarter.

Students may not officially drop / withdraw / change a class after the eighth week of the quarter regardless of their academic status. Failure to officially withdraw from classes may result in a failing grade being posted to student's transcript.

ENTER A CLOSED CLASS ( Overload )
If you want to enroll in a closed class, complete and submit the Schedule Change Request Form. You will be notified when the transaction has been completed and of any tuition charges or refunds.

Automated waiting lists may be available for some classes. Please check with each individual campus to see if a waiting list exists for your class.

ENTER A CLASS WITH UNMET PREREQUISITES
If you want to enroll without having met published prerequisites should complete and submit an Schedule Change Request Form. You must also Email a letter to Advising Services explaining the reasons for requesting a waiver of the prerequisites. You will be notified when the transaction has been completed and of any tuition charges or refunds.
